Autumn comes to La Bolée

St Jacques scallop galette, Breizh Burger Lorrain, Mirabelle cocktail and Trésor d'automne cider: discover our autumn suggestions menu.

The leaves are falling, the flavours are changing: our autumn suggestions menu has arrived, alongside the usual menu.

For aperitif time, try the Mirabelle cocktail (mirabelle liqueur, lemon juice, Guillevic white cider and a slice of orange, €9.50), Kwak amber beer (€5 for 25 cl, €10 for 50 cl) or Sorre's Trésor d'automne cider: the first vintage of the season, freshly fermented apple juice that is very fruity and round in the mouth (€6 a bolée, €12.40 a jug, €16 a bottle). Alcohol-free, Sorre's apple-apricot juice is €7.

On the savoury side, the St Jacques galette combines leek fondue, scallops, homemade tomato compote and balsamic cream (€26.50). The autumn salad brings together bacon bits, garlic mushrooms, cooked chestnut, colourful cherry tomatoes and walnut sauce (€16.50). And the Breizh Burger Lorrain slips minced steak, onion confit, Munster and bacon between two puffed galettes, with green salad and potatoes (€21.50).

To finish on a sweet note: the pistachio cream crêpe with chocolate and praline chips (€12), or the Salidou ice cream, vanilla and salted butter caramel, salidou and whipped cream (€9.50).

These suggestions are offered alongside our menu throughout the autumn. Book your table online or call us on +33 3 83 37 17 53.

Welcome to our new website!

One-click ordering, live booking, a lighthouse keeper to advise you, a galette made before your eyes… and even a game: discover everything La Bolée's new website has in store for you.

Ordering and booking are easier than ever. Deliveroo, Uber Eats or a phone call for takeaway: it's all at the top of the page. To book a table, available slots are shown live and your booking is confirmed instantly.

Can't choose between two galettes? The lighthouse keeper, our Breton advisor in his striped marinière, asks you three quick questions and suggests the galette that suits you, the drink to go with it, cider or alcohol-free, and even a crêpe for dessert. He knows the whole menu by heart.

As you scroll down the page, watch a complète galette being made before your eyes: the batter flows onto the bilig, the rozell spreads it, it turns golden, gets its filling, then is folded into a square. Turn on the ambient sound with the wave button at the top of the page to hear the waves, the gulls, a ship's bell and the sizzle of the bilig.

And while you wait, take on the « Flip the crêpe » challenge! A swipe of the finger to toss it, a move of the pan to catch it… Can you beat your record? The game is waiting for you on the home page, just below the galette.

The website now speaks English and German: one click on the globe at the top of the page, and visitors passing through Nancy can find the whole menu in their own language. This news section is also where you'll find all the latest from La Bolée.

Finally, a few surprises are hidden on the site… A clue: the keeper has a little secret when you tap him several times. And see you on 2 February for Chandeleur, French crêpe day!

La Bolée gets a makeover

Fully redecorated, new lighting, fresh paint and a new menu: come and see your crêperie in a new light.

The interior of La Bolée has been completely renovated. The decoration has been entirely redone to welcome you in an even warmer atmosphere, in the colours of our lighthouse: midnight-blue panelling, a gold trim and blue banquettes.

New lighting with beautiful gold pendant lights, fresh paint: the dining room has had a real refresh, so you can enjoy your galettes and crêpes in a friendly setting, lunch and dinner.

And because a new dining room deserved a new menu, our recipes are being refreshed too. The classics you love are still here, with a few new things to discover.

We can't wait to show you all this, Tuesday to Saturday, at 43 rue des Ponts. Book your table online or call us on +33 3 83 37 17 53.
